Technical development team
Leadership team
The leadership team is responsible for strategy and the direction the company will take, as well as managing the day to day running of ramsac. The team is made up of 4 Directors and 5 Department Heads from across the business who meet regularly to discuss issues affecting the business and to develop ideas for the future growth of ramsac.
Commercial team
The commercial team is responsible for sales, marketing, and client retention. It is made up of the relationship team who are responsible for managing all existing customer accounts, providing them with technical advice, strategic roadmaps, budgets and quotes. Also within the team is the Marketing Manager who delivers our web, communication and customer acquisition strategies and the Relationship Development Manager who works on new business opportunities. In addition, the People Manager is responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of ramsac people.
Support team
The support team’s main focus is assisting clients with any technical issues they may have. First line are responsible for taking the initial details of a case, logging it and dealing with the more simple and quick problems. They will assign the ticket with the appropriate priority and combined with the apprentices will solve around 85% of all work. Second line support are the first stage of escalation for more difficult or involved issues. Finally, third line deal with the most in-depth technical problems and also the majority of all the major incidents, whilst also providing training and support to their colleagues in first and second line.
Operations team
The operations team is responsible for ensuring that all the onsite activities are delivered in a planned and timely manner. They are responsible for the order management, project delivery and onsite scheduling. Coordinating all project components, including suppliers and third parties, they look after client renewals, office facilities and reception at the HQ in Guildford. They ensure clients have smooth project implementations, and they also set up and manage client service contracts, to make sure that the field-based team are in the right place at the right time!
Projects team
The project team is responsible for managing and coordinating the development and implementation of technology-related projects for the wide range of clients and within the organisation. This includes tasks such as planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and oversight of project development and execution. The department is also responsible for maintaining project documentation, communicating project progress and status to stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, they work closely with other departments within the organisation, such as the operations, relationship, and support teams, to ensure that projects align with overall business objectives and that any issues or concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
Finance team
The finance team look after all elements of the financial management of the business. From direct debits to invoicing, paying suppliers to preparing payroll, the finance team ensure that everything is properly accounted for and also to help clients with payment queries.
People team
The people team are responsible for finding great new talent and then planning and delivering their welcome to the ramsac team. They lead the interview, search and selection process, and also plan detailed company inductions. Additionally, they run the benefits programmes and deliver training to new and experienced colleague in line with the developing skills strategy.
Technical team
The technical team are responsible for the delivery of planned client work, developing client’s infrastructure, and delivering projects. They are comprised of the Technical Engineers who work on projects such as desktop role outs, end user support and network admin and the Technical Consultants who are the most senior technical resource and have regular scheduled visits to customers to provide whatever technical resource is needed including major IT projects, office moves, server installations as well as general IT management.
Technical development team
Technical Development are the backbone of totalIT services for clients and new cybersecurity services. They produce client totalIT monthly reports, proactively monitor their networks and infrastructure, complete client new starter and leaver requests, and continuously look for ways to improve, automate and develop internal process to result in efficiencies for ramsac and their clients. ramsac’s cybersecurity services include managing phish testing and security awareness campaigns for clients, the running of new secure+ cybersecurity monitoring service, and offering cybersecurity and information security consultancy for clients.
