Cybersecurity Awareness Month is an important month here at ramsac, the aim of this month is to raise awareness about digital security and empower everyone to protect their personal data from digital forms of crime.
Across the month October we will be posting cybersecurity tips and resources on social media to support our customers in protecting themselves and their organisations against cybercrime. Cybersecurity news articles are often about huge data breaches and hackers, it can seem overwhelming and leave people feeling powerless against it. But Cybersecurity Awareness Month reminds everyone that there are all kinds of ways to keep your data protected. It can make a huge difference even by practicing the basics of cybersecurity.
Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2025 will focus on the theme “Secure Our World”, supported by the message “Stay Safe Online”, with four key behaviours all month long:
- Use strong passwords and a password manager
- Turn on multi-factor authentication
- Recognise and report scams
- Update your software
